The A-222 130mm self-propelled coastal artillery is a coastal defense self-propelled artillery operated by the Russian Navy. The AK-130 twin-barreled ZIF-94-1 is mounted on the MAZ-543 truck and has high maneuverability not found in conventional coastal artillery.  Development began in 1976 during the Soviet Union era to upgrade the KSM-65 100mm coastal artillery.  Although the plan was significantly delayed due to financial difficulties, troops have been deployed since 2003.
